Personal Experience
In some way I have always been drawn to certain colors, and have always known certain colors had a different effect on me mentally and physically.
My favorite colors are a blend of the evening sunset colors like royal blue, pinks, and purples. Those colors have always been very soothing to me.
Colors like yellow and green have always made me feel super happy and optimistic.
Colors like orange and reds have always made me feel grounded and reminded me of cozy fall days.
How to practice Color Therapy

I think the bed way in these times is to use LED lights, and either set it up to display a new color every few seconds or just experience one color at a times.
Quartz crystal lights are a great way to practice color therapy, with colored bulbs.
Colored decor can also have an effect of your mood. You can have a lot of fun filling your world with color based on the needs of your colored chakra centers.
Personally, I have LED light in my room, which displays a different color every few seconds. I sleep with these lights on, and I’ve had some of the best nights sleep in a long time.
I wake up refreshed and energized. I also believe it help with pain.
